Very disappointed with the 2 elderly male sales staff who ignored customer and started chatting with one another instead. When they see customer enter the section they’re handling, instead of asking if customer needed help, the uncle decided to walk to the other uncle at the opposite section and started chatting. The other uncle also saw customer flagging for help. But both ignored till I had to open my mouth to ask. The old bloke handling the Dept came back but was condescending and providing irrelevant answers also. We hear a lot of old Bloke’s complaining that companies don’t give you a chance. But do you even appreciate the opportunity you’re given in the first place. If you’re so unwilling to work, then best stay home or sit at coffee shop than wasting company’s resources. So far, I’ve had very good experiences in other Branches. These 2 staffs at Jurong Point is a huge disappointment and pull down the rating for other hardworking staff in Challenger. Wake up blokes!
Super duper good service. I indicated on the Challenger help site that I am looking for an item which was out of stock at Jurong Point outlet. 2 days later they called me and it was missed call, I did not call back as I didn't see it but 1 day later they called me again to let me know it is back in stock! Even held the item for me at the counter for me to pick it up. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Selling all sorts of electronic products. But don't expect any services here. Self do research, think the only time they serve you is when you requested them to unlock the shelves to show you the product, that's all. They don't talk to you, just stood there,look at you. Preventing you from stealing from them.
Bad service, do not bother going there. I went there to purchase a laptop and I already had one in mind after doing a lot of research. So I was taking a look at it and I was approached by the sales representative. I asked a few questions about the laptop and said I was going to buy it. But the sales representative said there is a better one so I said ok and followed to check it out. The sales rep kept pushing to sell it and it felt so forceful. I felt like I was being forced to buy the laptop.
In the end, I just purchased the one the sales rep showed because it had seemingly better specs and the sales rep was sure of it. Before purchasing, after talking about the specs, he just took the laptop and rushed to the cashier without confirming it with me. I purchased it but was not aware of what was to come.
Fast forward about a week later, I realized this laptop is just the worst and the one I wanted to originally purchase did have better specs. The sales rep was lying about this having better specs and being so sure of it. The battery life is bad and the laptop has some weird clicking noise under it.
Overall, such terrible service. I will always regret purchasing from them. Try not to go to them!
I bought a DLINK camera but it didn’t come with the RSTP streaming function that I need. Brought the camera back the next day and the staff kindly let me exchange to another model which works perfectly for me. Happy.
*BEWARE OF THEIR WARRANTY PLANS* Lying & Mis-Selling
Their staff lied about the warranty of the products, saying we can do a 1-1 on the spot exchange if there are any issues. Did not elaborated on what is not covered, and made it sound like the switch is easy.
Now fast forward 1+ year later, when we went to starshield at buona vista to claim, they told us so many T&C, and all along were not allowed to just do a 1-1 switch w/o repairing first. They even have to attempt to repair it which can take up to 1 month before they can consider doing an exchange IF ur issue fits their t&c. Our item were wireless earbuds only....
Isn't it so ridiculous I paid so much for warranty to be subjected to this. & they told us they only cover connectivity issues, battery and all that aren't covered so super limited coverage which were also not told to us by the staff.
It doesn’t matter if starshield is a third party warranty company, nor does it matter that they are no longer partners with challenger. What challenger did was was damn unethical.
I am not sure if they tied up with other warranty providers but DO NOT trust the staff when they make it sound so easy like they are the one in charge of the warranty. They do not train their staff properly at all on this matter.
Also the staff did not make it clear that we were getting from an EXTERNAL 3rd party warranty company and not them. Just tell us to add & can do 1-1 exchange, even said "confirm can".

Service can be better
The membership is introduced but not explain clearly, it's like asking a child question and i just got a yes or no and end up i misunderstood the concept
Got the item with wrong specs requested but got an exchange later but next time perhaps ask customer to check. Also I wish can have more effort checking with customers requests rather than just take the item and put it at cashier
Overall its a on off cause they did help explain things later but i think it can be better. Shopping is a personal thing but i hope the shop itself can give customers better quality of experience in the shop and services
i made an online order and chose self collection as i need the item urgently. took half day to process and got the sms saying the item is ready for collection, no invoice received. fast forward to the point of collection. i checked with 1 of the sales guy, he told me to walk inside and look for customer service dept, which was correct. there were 3 guys at the customer services counter. 2 were talking to this man on how to use his newly purchased equipment, another was hided behind the counter. one of the guy noticed me and directed me to the one with no customer but the free guy told me to wait for the guy who was attending others... 😂 then the guy who directed me told me to go back in front and they should be able to assist me. so i asked 'the sales guy asked me to come here, now u said they can assist? so who's correct?' and he asked me 'who?' i was like.... seriously u tot i work here izit? in the end i waited the guy and collected my item. when i asked for my invoice, he told me should get from cashier. credit goes to cashier team, they are being extremely helpful. after compared with their other colleagues, i would say they offer excellent services.
If the staffs are not being train to offer assistant, at least try not to push the customers around.
